Classic 1967 VW Splitty Welding Project

This VW 67 South African Split Screen is our biggest project to date. This split has had an extensive amount of work including full new sides, arches and floor as well as various sections all over.

The customer was determined to do a proper job using the best quality panels available which is great- but means that sourcing parts has been costly and slowed the project down.

VW 67 South African Split Screen- rear arch, battery tray and engine bay panel fitted

VW 67 South African Split Screen- battery tray and engine bay panel removed and chassis repaired

VW 67 South African Split Screen- rotten section behind offside rear corner panel

VW 67 South African Split Screen- rotten section behind offside rear corner welded up

VW 67 South African Split Screen- long side removed

VW 67 South African Split Screen- long side and arch removed

VW 67 South African Split Screen- new front arch, sill and cargo doors fitted

VW 67 South African Split Screen- new rear corner fitted, required modification as was made too long
